I am so out of the blogging / youtube thing at the moment and I need to get back!

I hope you are all well and had a fab Christmas. I got back from the South last night, I spend Christmas with my mum and sister, it was lovely :)

I will be doing a Birthday and Christmas Pressie Post at some point when I have unpacked and have time to take the photos!

So, for now here is a FOTD from a month or so ago.. Can't quite remember what I used (I shoulda posted it when I did it, My bad.)

It's a pink/purple smokey type of look, and I hope you all like it.

Birthday Make up!

Thanks to everyone on twitter and who commented on my last post with Birthday Wishes. Much appreciated guys!

So, I'm now 27.. Scary!

I am off out for dinner soon with my BF and I am ready for it.. three gut busting courses, I know I will be complaining later, but hey ho!

I just did my make up and thought I would share it, It's kinda festive and dramatic, but I like it :)

I used my new Sunset palette from Sleek which I chose weeks ago but haven't been able to use until today, I LOVE it.







Oh, and here.. Have a look at our snow! It's freezing out there but hasn't snowed for a few hours now. I'm gonna wrap up warm tonight.

Up's and Down's - In's and Out's!

Gee Wizzle, I haven't done one of these posts in a while!

Sooo..

In In In..

- Tomorrow, Of course! It is going to be my birthday and I am excited :) (27 though, eeek)
- Christmas, I think I am finally in the spirit of things and I'm a little excited! I am going down to Plymouth for a week this Sunday and will have another Birthday when I get there, with my mum and sister, then we'll have Christmas together and I will be back oop norf for New Years!
- Boots Soap and Glory hat box thing, which is gonna be £20 from tomorrow (down from £50) Bargain!! I feel for anyone who paid the full £50.
- Wearing make up again! I have had a cold and throat infection for over a week and today is the first time I have properly put make up on. It feels good.

Out Out Out..

- NOT being able to find the Urban Decay book of shadows anywhere, other than Ebay for £60.. I wish I got it when I saw it in Boots now.
- Being ill.. Although I am alost better now, I have been rough for a week or so, Been to the docs today because my lymph nodes in my throat are swollen and he gave me penicillin.
- My face, It is SO spotty at the moment, and I mean badly. Even my BF said in all the time he has known me it is the worst he has seen it. I mentioned it to the doc today and he gave me a lotion thing to try, So fingers crossed for that!
- Plucking my eyebrows, It hurts and I can't be bothered, but I have no choice *Hmph!*

Luscious Lashes!

Max Factor's False Lash Effect is THE one for me when I want volume and length on my lashes, It cost me around the £10 mark, but it is so worth it, I am always amazed at the effect it has on my lashes when I apply it, even with just one coat, which is all I applied for the pictures below.

It's really black, a nice formula that doesn't take too long to dry and gives a good effect to the lashes, Not sure they look 'False' though?





Oh, and apparently it is exactly the same as Covergirl lashblast from the US, which is lots cheaper.. Is this true?

Face of the day, But not today!

Hey all!

I have been lacking anything to blog about or make videos about lately, plus I am sick, I have a stinker of a cold and throat infection which is just starting which I am going to try my hardest to budge before next Friday, because it is going to be my birthday, and I want to be feeling good for it.

So, Anyway.. I was going through my blog picture folder and found this old FOTD that I never posted, so I thought 'Why not post it now?' And so, here it is.

I don't remember exactly what was used though, Sorry about that.

Aussie Comp Make up Look!

G'day Sports!

So, a little late, I know.. But here is my entry to the Aussie competition. Luckily I was given a little extra time because I have been sick and never got the chance to do my entry.

My look was based on this gorgeous sunset picture :



I just wanted to do a hot bright sunset type look that really stands out. When I think of Australia I think of heat, sunshine, sand, and beautiful sunsets. I also added some purple eye liner on the lower lash line for the Aussie logo colour, of course! And to add a little sparkle I added some gold glitter over the purple, but I don't know if that shows in the pics. :)
