Topshop 'Crushed Berry' Cream Blusher.

I recently bought this blusher from a blogsale recently, just to try it out and see what it was like really. I am very new to cream blush, and before this I had only tried a max factor one, which I had liked.

This blusher is amazing and could very possibly (definitely) have me wanting to try lots of other cream blushers now! This is a really soft smooth consistency that can be applied with fingers really smoothly, or with a 188 brush for a sheer finish, or a 109 for a more heavy look.

This looks like a dark colour, but I only used little and blended it well and it looks so pretty on, and lasts all day, I love it! I definetely want to branch out and get some more cream blushers now.

What are your recommendations?

Please check out this post too, it has been sadly neglected!

Max Factor MakeUp Brushes..

I was so pleasantly surprised when I heard that Max Factor has bought out a range of MakeUp Brushes.

I am a self confessed make up brush addict and believe you can never have too many. It's funny, because when you start with makeup you just want to buy make up all of the time, but when you realise how much difference using a brush to apply it with makes, they become an obsession too! They did for me anyway.

So, when I was sent these to try I was chuffed to see how they would perform. I got the Blusher Brush (£11), The Eyeshadow Brush (£6) and the Eye Definer Brush (£6). They are all really cute, They are sturdy and good quality, and have short handles, so are perfect for travel!

The Blusher brush has lovely soft bristles and is really fluffy. It picks up the right amount of product and blends it really well onto the cheeks. It hasn't shed one single hair for me, and I have washed it numerous times. This is a lovely brush!

This is my fave of the bunch, When I first saw it I just thought it looked like a pretty average brush, but it is perfect. It's very flat with soft bristles, yet it is dense and has a nice stiffness to it. It picks up and deposits colour perfectly.

I'll admit now, this is a strange one, and I just looked at it for a few days thinking 'what am I gonna do with you' .. I'm not sure how it's an eye definer brush. It's a small angled brush, but it's not thin enough for liner. I think it could be good for defining the crease I guess, but when I finally used it I found it the perfect size for lining the lower lash line, and for the eyebrows too!

These are all available from Boots, for £5 upwards. I highly recommend them :)

The No7 Colour Rebellion Palette.

I recently had a £5 off voucher for Boots, So went along to the No7 counter with my Mum. I was about to buy a new lip gloss but when I got to the counter I saw the new Limited Edition range that they have just released, and as soon as I saw this palette I put the lip gloss down.

It was eye catching with it's snake skin effect pattern and sturdy looking packaging and brightly coloured eyeshadows.

The Colour Rebellion Palette is £10.50 and has four eyeshadows in it. The quality of these shadows is really impressive, they are soft, and very pigmented.

Here are my swatches. Sorry the lighting isn't great, it was early evening!

Aren't they pretty colours? I will be doing a FOTD with this very soon.

Well done No7, Win!

Funky Pink Leopard Nails!

I'm doing lots of these nail posts lately, aren't I?!

I think I'm just into doing my nails lots at the moment..

So this nail look, as seen on numerous blogs and youtube videos is done free hand - It's a leopard print type look.. I do have the Konad plate, but wanted to try it free hand.

I like how it came out, apart from the little silver blobs, they completely ruined the look, but I thought it might look effective.. Ah well, you live and learn!

I used :

Barry M Bright Pink, Maybelline Red Polish for the spots, Black Rio Nail Art pen to outline the spots and as I said, ignore the silver crap!

Lip Loving : Peachy Pout!

Hey Peoples!
I thought I would do another lip of the week post. I've done a few of these, and I like to post about what colour lips I am sporting the most this week!

So, I'm loving the peach at the moment, and above is my fave combo :) It is Barry M Peachy Pink (#147) Lip Paint and Chanel Aqualumiere Gloss in Candy Glow (#68).

I think peachy lips are summery and flirty and up until quite recently I would never have thought of wearing a peach lipstick.

Here is what it looks like on the lips (Sorry the picture isn't the best..)

Do you like peachy lips? :) Let me know your fave peachy lippies!

Bargainous Accessories! ♥

While I was away at my Mum's we went into town and I got a few treats from Primark. I just love Primark for accessories, you cannot beat the price, and they are always on trend.

So I thought I would show you what I got... All necklaces :)

I couldn't resist this, it caught my eye straight away. It's so big and glamorous and the stones really catch the light and are multi coloured, Love it! I would guesstimate that this is a 20" chain.

Next up is this cute little birdcage necklace, the chain on this is super long, like past the boobs! It is so delicate and vintage looking and has a cute diamante birdy inside with a pearl :)

This was orginally for my mum, but when we got home I tried it on and she loved how it looked that she let me keep it and said she will get herself another one. I don't normally like owl'y things much, but this is so eye catching and big, The chain is really long.

Last but not least, this is a dainty, super cute little bumble bee, It is just gorgeous. I am scared of Bee's in real life, but I love this necklace! The chain is shorter on this, about 18" or so.

What do you think?
Do you purchase your accessories in Primark too?
I think they are just perfect!
  • Heart Necklace : £2.50
  • Birdcage Necklace : £2.00
  • Owl Necklace : £2.50
  • Bee Necklace : £1.50
Thanks Mummy! ♥

Soap & Glory 'Long Distance Shimmer'.

Hey everyone. Today I wanna talk about this lovely little gem, The Soap & Glory long distance shimmer. It's a multi purpose product for cheeks, eyes and lips and is a creamy highlightery type of thing!

As you can see it has a pretty pink/gold sheen to it. It's really soft and smooth and blends really easily without any chunky glitter or such. For me it is a great highlighter, it's subtle but buildable and is such a pretty colour.

See? .. It sets well on my cheeks and gives me a gorgeous glow all day long. I like it on the lips too, but on my oily eyelids it creases, It's great for the browbone though!

I got this is a Soap & Glory set which I received as a gift from my mum, and I am not very sure if it can be bought alone or always comes in a set.. Sorry to be so unhelpful!

Back to Blogging!

Hey Everyone!

While I was away I was itching to blog again, but because I didn't have everything with me at my Mum's I was a little limited.

Now I am back I have changed my layout a little and spent six hours, yes six! Removing every single tag from all 400 posts and re adding them so they are neat and tidy and organised.

Now that I have done that and my blog is fresh and ready for more posts I thought I would ask you lot, the people who read my blog, what you want to see more of?

So, here is a poll.. Please leave me a comment too, so I know your thoughts!

Thank you :)

What would you like to see more of?

FOTD With Sue Moxley Festival Palette.

Remember this palette, which I showed you all the other day?

Lovely, init? .. Well here, as promised, is the face of the day I did with it!

I apologise for the pictures, they didn't turn out that great to be honest and the look was more vibrant in the flesh..

Random Nail Art..

Hey peoples, this is just something I did while I was at my mums, I wasn't sure about it at first but it got me a few compliments, So I took a picture and thought I would show it..

I just used a black and white nail art pen (The ones with the fine brushes) and I did the stripes in white and added a touch of black under each one, then I added GOSH rainbow on top, and that is all..

It looks quite effective and eye catching, but I need practice to make it neater :)

I hope you are all well, I am back from my Mum's now and I miss her and my sister and doggy already .. Normal blogging will resume soon.

My, Sue Moxely, How your Make Up has improved!<.

Sue Moxley is a brand I have tried a little of in the past, but I was quite disappointed with one of her Palettes that I once got as a gift, it looked beautiful and was full of bright colours that seemed pigmented, but the quality just wasn't up to the price of the palette. The eyeshadows would disappear as soon as I tried to blend them.

Recently I received a parcel with some products for review in, including this, the 'Festival Palette' from Sue Moxely. I opened it up and was wowed by the bright colours and the new sturdier packaging, So I quickly swatched them right away in the hope that maybe the quality of the product inside had improved, I then wiped over with a tissue to see if they were still a bit rubbish. . . . .and guess what?

They have improved, majorly! The eyeshadows are now extremely smooth and so pigmented, and they last, they don't just rub off. I am so pleased because the Sue Moxley range sells some gorgeous looking products, but I have never bought anything else from them because of the palette I had tried.

These eyeshadows remind me of Urban Decay eyeshadows, they are so blendable and smooth and bright and now long lasting. I also have a Shimmer Brick from this brand which is great and I shall be reviewing it soon!

This Palette has four stunning colours, as you can see..

Here are some swatches..

Isn't it pretty? I have a FOTD look coming soon with this palette, I love it!

Sue Moxely is available from Superdrug stores.
This product was sent to me for review consideration, all opinions are honest and mine.

Eyeko Cream, With Extra Glow!%

This was recently sent to me from Eyeko, and I was very excited to try it!

I am quite new to trying things from Eyeko, and so far I have been so impressed. Their products are cute, the packaging is quirky and everything is really nice quality.

I have never tried the original 3 in 1 Eyeko cream that they sell, So I wasn't to sure what to expect. This new cream is the same idea, but it had extra glow! We all love a bit of glow, don't we?

Here it is, swatched.

It is a really smooth thick cream that doesn't really have a scent, It blends into the skin really nicely and in my swatches it is not completely blended.

They Say : This NEW dreamy pink cream is loaded with micro light reflecting pigments perfect for creating a soft focus sheen. Add a flattering highlights to brow and cheek bones, your cupids bow, even collar bones and shins for a touch of moonlit magic.

So, I got it out and I played with it.

For me, as an all over face moisturiser it doesn't work, I am oily and a face full of shimmer would not be a cool look at all. I do think that this would be waaay too shimmery for anyone's face, all over.

As an eye cream it's ok, I mixed a tiny dot of this in with my normal eye cream and applied it, it brightened up under my eyes and gave a nice glow without looking overly shimmery.

I love it as a highlighter though, It leaves a gorgeous sheen and gives a healthy glow. I used it on my cheekbones, down my nose and a little on the brow bone and cupids bow.

Here are some pictures I took after I had applied it..

Lovely, right? I think it makes me look fresh faced, and even though I am oily skinned it doesn't make me look silly. This is definitely a nice product to have that is multi purpose, It is not glittery, but has a really pretty shimmery sheen to it.

What do you think, have you tried this
Available from the Eyeko Website, for £8.00.
