» Neutral with Lashes FOTD.

Todays face of the day is a look that I did with the HD Brow Palette. It has huge shades in it for the brows that can be used as eyeshadows, so that is what I did, and I jazzed it up with some gorgeous Blink + Go lashes from the 'Tease' Range.

The lashes are long, flirty, and they feel so lightweight and natural and are easy peasy to apply. Love them!

To create the look, this is what I used :
UDPP
NYX Milk
Light shade (Lid) HD Palette
Dark Brown (Crease) HD Palette
Black (Outter Corner) HD
Med Brown (Lower Lashline) HD
Collection 2000 extreme liner (Black)
Blink + Go Tease lashes
Collection 2000 extreme mascara (Black)
MAC Prep & Prime Face
Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation
Max Factor Creme Puff Powder
Sleek Rose Gold Blusher
Medium Brown HD for brows
Maybelline 'Pink Brown' Lips.
The finished look looked like this :

What do you think? I think the lashes just make it look really glam. I love false lashes so much!

» Sugababes Fragrance - Touch.

I can imagine that many of you have seen numerous posts on the new Sugababes fragrances recently, I know that I have, There are giveaways galore too! Well, I'm here today to do a little review for y'all, of the scent 'Touch' that I was sent last week.

Packaging : First impressions are that the bottle is nice, but quite hefty, bold and out there, I like the black bottle (in the pic above) but I'm not keen on the silver and pink, I think they look a little childish. However, that's unimportant, It's just a bottle, who cares, right?

The Scent : I love how this smells, It's not a 'grown up' smell as such, it is a fun scent I would say, I think that it would honestly suit anyone though, from young girls, to older women. When it is first spritzed it does smell quite fruity and sweet (which I'm not keen on) but it soon wears down more of a musky scent with rose notes coming through, which I love.

This scent lasted really well on me too, I could still vaguely smell it after about 8 hours on my wrist, which is pretty impressive in my book.

Overall : I like it, I keep wearing it, and I can say that it is my fragrance of choice at the moment. It's not too grown up and I think it would be suitable for most females, if they like musky rose scents :)

All of the Sugababes fragrances are available from The Perfume Shop and the bottles contain a huge 100ml for £19.99. The Perfume Shop currently have gift sets for the same price for Christmas though, so check those out! You can also 'Like' the Sugababes Perfume on  Facebook, where they will be holding give-aways and stuff.

»Extreme Liner & Lashes!

New from Collection 2000 is their 'Extreme' Range, which includes some 24 hour eye liners in various colours, and some coloured mascara.

Above are the eye liners, which apparently last for 24 hours. I was very excited about these, as I do love a felt tip eye liner, they are so easy to use and convenient .. I can honestly say that these are excellent. They are pigmented, really strongly coloured, and long lasting (Not sure about 24 hrs, I never wear it for that long!) .. Here are my swatches :
I love these! They nib of the pen is so fine and these liners are easy to create a thick of fine line with. The liner lasts all day on me, until I remove it .. and getting these swatches off my hand took a while too!
* * *

I also tried a couple of the mascaras, one in teal, and one in black. I like the bright packaging, which shows which colour the mascara is, and I also the  the brush on these, the way it curves inwards at the ends ensures that it gets to all lashes, even the ones you don't know are there. The formula is nice, is thick, and dries fast. I would say this is more voluminous that lengthening, but I'm ok with that.
Here it is, black on top lashes, teal on the bottom.. Sorry for the shoddy picture!

The coloured mascara is nice and pigmented, but the black is nothing special, and I have tried much better black mascaras really (like my all time fave, max factor false lash effect!). I definitely recommend the liners though. Collection 2000 is a very reasonably priced brand, available from Superdrug online, and instores.

So, there you have it.. :) Have you tried any of these, Thoughts?

» More Mememe Nails!

Did you see my first NOTD with the middle shade (Demure) the other day? If not, you can see it here.

Today I bring you NOTD's with the other two shades. They are lovely! These polishes are opaque within two coats, they have an easy application maxi brush, they last for days without chipping and they leave a glossy finish on the nails, so no need to shiny top coat (If you don't want.)

Oh, and I apologise for the sloppy application - I always seem to decide to paint my nails in the evening when I can barely see what I am doing! D'oh!
Patient is an interesting shade, kinda grey/beige/cream - It took a bit of getting used to, but it grew on me. What do you think?

* * * * *
Impulsive is just WOW! I love looking at it in the bottle, but I don't know if I am brave enough to wear it. It's an acid yellow / almost lime green and I love it, it's just SO bright!

I decided, because of it's brightness that it would be perfect with Barry M Nail effects on top, and I think I was right...
Improvement, right? .. Next time I wear this I will put nail effects over them all :)
These polishes cost £4.50 each and are on 3 for 2 for now, See here.

» Maybe She's Born With It ..

Maybe It's Maybelline! :)
I have some gorgeous new maybelline goodies that I want to blog about today. First off, some of their Colour Sensational Lipsticks, These are some of my faves, they are pigmented, light feeling and some of them have a gorgeous sheen to them, You'll see...
They are gorgeously packaged, smooth to apply, the colour pay off is great and the colour range is pretty big! I already own 'Ambre Rose' which is my *My lips but better* Shade - Here are my swatches :
I adore all of the colours apart from Coral Fever, I'm not sure if it's me!? .. Anyway, these lipsticks get a thumbs up from me, they are priced around £7 and are creamy and moisturising, Check them out at your local Superdrug.

Next up are two of the Eyestudio Mono Eyeshadows from maybelline, not something I have ever looked into before, but these are stunning, see for yourself :

Gorgeous, right? They are smooth, intensely pigmented, they blend really nicely and I cannot fault them at all, they feel light weight, and they look lovely on! That blue is just amazing, and the silver is almost a taupe, Love it! You can also purchase these from Superdrug, I will definitely be checking out some more colours. They are around £4 each, Bargain!

Lastly, The NEW Falsies Waterproof Formula Mascara.. I already love this mascara, this is just the same as the non waterproof, it gives a lovely long voluminous lash effect, but it is waterproof. It lasts all day with out flaking or smudging, and  removed nicely with my boots botanics make up remover. I would recommend this mascara, it's one that I always have in my mascara box! This is around the £8 mark.

» Barry M Dusky Mauve NOTD.

I finally got the beautiful new nail paint from Barry M, that is 'Dusky Mauve' .. A gorgeous purple polish with a purple/pink shimmer to it. This is a gorgeous deep colour that is opaque within two coats, and lasts for days, even without a top coat. I am in love.

I'm sure you are all aware that this is a near perfect dupe for the infamous 'Paradoxal' from Chanel. I don't own it, and could never have forked out nearly £20 for a nail polish, but you don't need to when you can get this for £2.99 from Superdrug, Boots, or here online.

It's gorgeous, init? .. This was a gift from a gorgeous friend. Thanks Leonie.

Sparkly Nails!

I was recently sent a few bits from 'Sparkly Nails', a great little website that is packed full of all things nail related! Nail art gems, polishes, fimo slices and glitters.

The pink, lilac and white nail stickers above are currently on my toes and they look really good, and with a clear top coat over them, they last for ages. The rhinestones are very pretty and really sparkle in the light, and the nail art striper in red is really opaque, unlike some striper's you can get. I will have a NOTD post where I show how I have used it, soon!

The striper polish is only £3.00 and the stickers range from as little as 60p on the site. If you are a nail addict, definitely check this site out! P & P is only £1.50 too! :)

H2o Sea Pure Skincare.

I have recently been testing out this skincare range by H2o which is a natural range with sea-sourced nutrients proven to hydrate, repair and revitalize the skin.

My First Impressions : The packaging is nice, it is good quality and looks good in the bathroom :) The labels are clear and precise and there were clear instructions with everything so that it was clear how to use them. The scent of all of the products is the same, it has a very fresh citrus (orange) smell that is very refreshing.

The Products : The Creamy Facial Cleanser : comes in a squeezy tube, and is a very thick, rich lotion. You only need a small glob to cover your face and neck. This stuff feels so smoothing, it smells so fresh and my favourite part is how well it lathers! With my Clarisonic I worked up a lovely lather with this, and it left my skin feeling squeaky clean and looking bright.

The Renewing Prep Tonic : is just fab! I love how it is packaged, it has a pump at the top, so there is no risk what so ever of pouring out too much. This is extremely soothing to the skin and instantly cools and refreshes my face after cleansing. It really brightens and hydrates my skin without drying it out at all.

The Gentle Refining Polish : is a lovely smooth cream with a gentle exfoliant, it's not overly harsh on the skin but it has enough grains in it so give the skin a good clean and leaves it feeling smooth and free of any dry skin. I only use this twice a week because my Clarisonic exfoliates my face, but it is nice.

The Deep Moisture Cream : a lovely thick gel like consistency that feels instantly soothing. This is very rich and deeply moisturising, a little too much for my already oily skin unfortunately. It leaves the skin hydrated and plump looking. It will be perfect for anyone with dry skin .. I am waiting got the harsher colder weather, and then this may come in handy.

The Perfecting Eye Cream : love this! It's like the moisturiser in that is is a cooling gel like consistency, it's quite rich and sinks is quickly leaving the sensitive eye area looking brighter and less puffy. You can feel this working, it instantly soothes and brightens the area, and soaks in so fast that you can apply concealer, etc, right away.

This is a lovely high quality skincare range that I would recommend and there are a few stand out products in here that I am addicted to right now. The scent is lovely, the products are quality, They contain mostly natural ingredients, and they are suitable for all skin types.

»Sleek Makeup Sparkle Palette - 'Tis the Season To Sparkle!

Here it is everyone, This is what I have been waiting for .. the Limited Edition Christmas Palette from Sleek Makeup, and it is beautiful!

& .. It's called Sparkle!

As with all of the palettes do now, Sparkle comes in a cardboard sleeve, which I like. It's eye catching and festive looking and I like to keep my palettes in these so I can tell them apart.

It has twelve stunning eye catching glitter bomb colours that are perfect for the party festive season! This might possibly be one of my most favourite palettes to date! It is so pretty and eye catching!

The pigmentation of these is outstanding, they remind me on the nars night series eyeshadows, packed with the gorgeous silver glitter. It's extremely fine glitter too, that transfers perfectly with each colour, rather than flaking all over your cheeks in fall out. These are smooth, sparkly, and eye catching- Oh, and they all have names again too! I am thinking Sleek are making the names a permanent thing now?! :)

I just love all of the shades so much and I will be doing some FOTD's with this very soon!

This stunning Palette goes on sale tomorrow (Nov 24th) on the Sleek Makeup Website, and in Superdrug stores! Trust me, it is a MUST have!

Be quick though, it is a limited edition and will only be available until January the 8th.

» Girls With Attitude - Fake Tattoo's, Nail Art & More!

The last of the girls with attitude goodies that I was sent were some false nails, fake tattoos and nail art stickers.

These are the nails, sorry for the lack of good images, I am out of practice with false nails and some of them looked a little wonky after my late night application. They are lovely though, aren't they? .. They lasted me for five days before I got fed up and pinged them off. I love the design though, they look so elegant.
£5.00 from here.

The nail stickers and tattoos are great, and would make perfect stocking filler gifts. The stickers are great for sticking on after you have painted your nails, to jazz them up. It looks like you have made an effort when you haven't really! Make sure you paint a clear topcoat over the top and they will last for days!

The tattoos are fab, but didn't last that long to be honest. My little sister (who is 14 and wants a tattoo) would like these, because they are grown up cool designs, rather than silly childish ones that come in a bubblegum. I did use a couple of these, but they didn't even last two days before they wore off.
I used one on the side of my hand (a'la Cheryl Cole) and I love it, I want a really tattoo there. This lasted about a day and it started to wear away.. (Bearing in mind because it was on my hand It would have rubbed away when I was putting my hands in my pockets, etc..)

The nail stickers cost £2.50 - and the tattoos are only £3, and you get two sheets, so a bargain!
So check out the website, everything is so cutely packaged, and the lashes are fab! At the moment it's free delivery on everything and you save 25% on orders of £10 and above, but be quick, It's for a limited time only! (Until December 11th) You can also follow them on twitter @Girls_Attitude where they have giveaways!

» MUA Budget Range!

I am sure that most of you have probably seen numerous posts about the budget MUA range from Superdrug, most of you have probably tried it out already, but I'm really behind, ok! :) MUA (Make Up Academy) is a brand that has a range in Superdrug where every item is only £1.

I have been trying some of their goodies out for the past few weeks though, and today I want to talk about them and what I think.

Firstly, I remember when the MUA brand was sold in TJ Hughes, I had some of their eyeshadow quads, glitter liners, a blusher and lipstick. It was ok, but I wasn't overly impressed. It seems that they have now redesigned the packaging and everything, so I was interested to see what it was like now.

Firstly, I have seven on the eyeshadows. The first four are 'Pearl' which are shimmery, and the bottom three are matt shades.

I like the 'Pearl' finish eyeshadows, the pigmentation for £1 is impressive. The matt shades however were a little disappointing with quite poor pay off. They are very sheer and powdery, and sadly they didn't last for long.

Next up are a couple of the lip glosses, these are really nice! They are pigmented, they smell sweet and are not too sticky. I am definitely wanting to try some more colours of the glosses, take a look :
See the pretty shimmers in shade 2? Love it!

Last up, and something else that impressed me loads in the liquid eye liners. The packaging is good, and the colour pay off is amazing. Once they are dry they do not budge easily, These are a sure winner! The only thing you have to wait a little longer for, is when you apply them they take a little longer than most to dry, but when they are dry, they are good.

How gorgeous is shade 3? .. It's a current fave! :)

So that's my lot for now.. I want to try some more glosses and shimmer eyeshadows. The quality of everything is really impressive for £1 per item, But I would probably skip the matt eyeshadows, they just didn't show up or last well on me.

So you have any MUA recommendation's?

Thank you for reading.

» Liz Earle - Brightening Mask. ♥

I have become a big fan of the Liz Earle products recently, and this is one of the standout products that I have tried! It's the Brightening Treatment Mask and is a quick fix for soothing and brightening up the face!

It contains stimulating camphor oil, toning witch hazel and other essential oils which help to refresh the skin.

The application is easy, the bottle has a pump and I only need one full pump to cover my face. Upon smearing it on my face and neck it feels totally cool and refreshing and gives my skin an instant boost. Avoid the eyes and mouth, and then leave it for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, not that long at all, eh?

Rinse with water, and use the muslin cloth provided and be amazed at how glowy your skin is.. really!

My skin looks refreshed and bright after using this mask, and the clay in the mask eliminates the oiliness too, so I'm fresh faced and ready to go. This is a great pick me up for your skin on these cold winter nights!

A 50ml pump starter kit, with a muslin cloth is available here, for £12.75.

» MeMeMe Nail Revolution!

Impulsive                                 Demure                               Patient
Here are three shades from the new MeMeMe nail collection, These are high gloss polishes and they have a maxi brush for easier application. Click here for more info on the stunning colour range. As you can see from the shades that I had, they vary from brights, to more sophisticated shades.

I have a NOTD for you with the middle shade today, which is demure, and fits into that beige/brown/gray family that is so popular at the moment, It is a gorgeous colour and perfect for winter. I think it's a very sophisticated colour.

It's lovely, isn't it? This is only two coats, of polish, and the maxi brush make application effortless. They dried within five minutes and I have no topcoat on here, so that you can see the shiny finish. Without a topcoat I wore this for three days without any chips, which is impressive wear. I would definitely recommend them!

These polishes are only £4.50 each and are currently on 3 for 2. Click here for more.

I will have NOTD's with the other shades soon. :)
