February 'Valentines' Glossybox.

It's pretty, It's hot pink.. It is the Valentines Special Glossybox! How lovely is that colour box? .. More please Glossybox! It's gorgeous.

I received this last week, and have had a little play with the products before doing this post. I'm sure you have seen a ton of posts that simply tell you the contents. Well, I'm going to do that, but tell you what I think of the products aswell.

This Months Box had one full size item, and four luxury samples.

Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner: I have a slight issue with this brand after they sort of changed everything about themselves and started selling in Harrods, they seem to have got a little 'up themselves' and their prices increased ridiculously. This liner is £9.50, which I think is way overpriced. It's nice though, goes on smoothly, and is a nice shade (I got emerald). I did wonder what was going on with the weird packaging too, the long silver part seems pointless, but according to them "Even when you sharpen the pencil to the smallest nub the silver handle remains for longer use." .. Meh.

Murad Skin Perfecting Primer: This is a dewy finish primer, which I thought sounded interesting. I normally go for matte primers because I have oily skin. I have tried it though, and I'm not a big fan, it is dewy and gives a nice finish, but it is coloured and makes my pale skin look a bit dirty. It didn't really work for me at all.

Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream & Night Cream: I was happy to have these in the box, I love these luxury sized samples, and these are great to try the product out, and also really handy sizes for travelling. I like both creams, they leave my skin smooth and haven't irritated it at all. I haven't noticed any firming to be honest, but it's early days. These are £40+ each though, and I can't see myself paying that for a day or night cream.

FAB Gentle Body Wash: Another great mini sized product for travel. This is a nice gentle bodywash, suitable for the most sensitive skintypes, it's hydrating and great for dry skin. I have used it a couple of times, and it's just 'okay.' I like scented smells when I shower and this really had no scent to it. I'm sure it is perfect for those who can't use products that are strongly scented though.

So, this months Glossybox is a mixed one for me, I like some of the products, and I'm not bothered about others, but that's the way it works. I still love the surprise element each month though!
