Liz Earle: Superskin Concentrate.

Hi Everyone. Wow, long time no post. I hope you are all well. I haven't been around since I had my op as I have been spending lots of time with my family, and relaxing, trying to recover from my surgery. I'm still sore, but better than I was at first. It's going to take a while to heal, but I am hoping to slowly get back into the swing of blogging.

The intense, aromatic blend of 100% pure plant oils in this rich, restoring night-time treat is suitable for all skin types. It helps to soften dry or mature skin and balance combination or oily skin.

Use at night after cleansing and toning (but before moisturising).

Naturally active ingredients include softening argan and organic rosehip oils, soothing neroli, lavender and chamomile essential oils plus antioxidant natural source vitamin E.
I was kindly sent a sample of this at the beginning of the year to try out, and I wasn't sure if it was going to work for me. I have oily skin, so the thought of slathering an oil all over it wasn't something I liked the sound of. I sometimes put bio oil on my skin over night, for a moisture boost, but it always feels a little greasy.

I had heard good things about this though, and wanted to see what all of the fuss was about, and I have to admit that I have really enjoyed using it, and it has really improved my skin. Yes it is an oil, but it sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy layer on your face, it smells amazing, a perfect scent before bed, it is very relaxing. I just use one pump, rub between my fingers and then pat it onto my face and massage it in. When I wake my skin feels sooo smooth, very plump and hydrated.

Aside from it making my skin look good though, my skin has behaved really well while using this. Since having my surgery I have let my skincare slide a little, and I got quite a bad breakout (I think due to being rundown and stress), but I kept this by my bedside and applied a little each night, and all of my blemishes have gone, without leaving the horrible scars behind too.

It is pricey at £38.75 for 25ml of product, but as you can see, I haven't used that much, and I have been using it for over a month already.

Available Here.
