So, first things first, the packaging is nice and simple, and matches those of the Liz Earle Shampoo and Conditioner. The treatment itself is a thick rich cream that smells like the original shampoo and conditioner, which is mainly of citrus - a lovely zingy refreshing scent.
This can be left on for 10 mins, or 30 mins, I suppose that depends on you and how much of a treatment you want. I never time myself, but I always wash my hair first when I shower or bath, and then I leave this on while I do everything else, then rinse at the end.
I use a fifty pence piece size blob for my mid lengths and ends, and then wrap my hair in a towel. Before I rinse I comb my hair through, then I am done. My hair felt instantly smooth after using this, the comb just slid through my hair. After air drying my hair was noticeably softer and smoother than usual, and after straightening it, it had that 'just out of the salon' shine and feel to it. Luscious!
I would definitely recommend this if you have thick, unruly hair that tends to frizz, it definitely is a lovely treat for the hair. I'm in the habit of using it once per week now as a special treatment for my hair.
Available from the Liz Earle Website, or in Liz Earle Stores.
