Review : Burt's Bee's .. Yummy!!

Mmm, this shower gel smells just divine!

I had always been curious about Burt's Bee's stuff and always wanted to try it, but never really found it anywhere. I was sent these two things for review purposes and I couldn't wait to try them both out. So, off to the shower I went with the lovely zingy fresh shower gel, It's delightful! It smells so good and so fresh and citrus-y (if that is even a word... Bah! never mind!), It lathers really nicely. It's a thick gel consistency and and you don't need to use much on your shower scrunchy to get a nice frothy lather going. It's also really nice as a bubble bath too. This left my skin feeling tingly fresh when I got out of the shower, and a really pleasant scent lingered on my body afterwards and I felt clean and it didn't dry my skin out at all, It makes my skin really soft, which I am thinking is probably because of the added coconut and sunflower oils that are in it. Burt's Bee's products are natural too, which is always a good thing I think.

Available from Boots - Here.

So, onto the Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm.

This is a great little lip balm, it's a nice small size and perfect for throwing in your handbag when you're on the go. It has a slight menthol scent and leaves the lips feeling cool and slightly tingly, which I like the feeling of. It's quite a hard wax in the tin but one you get your warm finger in there it's easy to pick up a nice amount and slick it on to the lips. I'm not really a fan of dipping my finger into lip products but I have been using this so much recently. I went through a day or two of very sore chapped lips a while ago and I got this out and applied it for the whole day and my lips were practically healed, and feeling smooth and moisturised again. I think you can also but it in a stick balm, which is probably what I will opt for when I have run out of this. All in all though, it is a great product that is very moisturising.

Available from Boots - Here.

*Both products were sent to me for review consideration. I am not afiliated with the company and my opinion is honest.*

Thanks for posting this review! I have always wondered about Burt's Bee's bath products but never really bothered to try partly because of the price. I have their cuticle cream and it looks like the lip balm and I love it! You should try that out if you're interested! I think I might have to try out their body wash! :)

I have the honey stick lip balm from Burt's Bees but I don't like it too much. It's too sticky for a lip balm. I might've just gotten used to Labello too much. Also it smells really strongly of honey and I'm not too keen on honey.

How funny - I have that exact same shower gel (I got it free with a Marie Claire subscription) and on me it doesn't lather at all and smells like bathroom cleaner :/ Maybe I have a funny batch! Lovely review though x
